In addition to traditional schools, students can access alternative education opportunities within Katy. Students from local high schools can attend the Miller Career & Technology Center to pursue specialized career and technology programs, as well as core classes. Students attend the Miller Career & Technology Center for a half day, then attend their home high school campus for the rest of the day.

Several Katy private schools also received top rankings by Niche. The Village School, a PreK-12 private school, was ranked the fifth-best private high school in Texas and currently has a 4-star rating.

The British International School of Houston, a private school serving PreK-12 students, was ranked as Texas’s 20th-best private high school.
