When you visit The Design Studio, you will receive one-on-one tailored service with an experienced designer who is expertly skilled at enhancing and personalizing your space into a home that is uniquely yours. Our team will guide you through the entire personalization process to help make selections that not only fit your style, but your budget as well.

The Design Studio Experience

Once you sign your purchase contract, the fun begins! Start by touring our model homes throughout Southern California that showcase many of the design options available in The Design Studio. By walking through the fully decorated model homes, you’ll have a better sense not only of the finishes you can choose, but how they look together in a completed space.

Before you come in and meet with your designer, spend some time figuring out your own personal style. Think about durability, functionality, and how your household lives not only now, but in the future as well. Flip through our look book for inspiration or browse popular design websites like Pinterest, Houzz, and Instagram. We’ll ask you to complete our Style Survey and Options Wish List so our designers can be prepared and tailor the appointment to your specific style.

The day of your design appointment is one of the more exciting aspects of the homebuying journey. Our more than 5,000 square foot studio showcases your included design elements and on-trend options for flooring, cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, window coverings, and more. This is where you’ll see your vision of home come to life. You can fully immerse yourself in the finishes, textures, and details that are no longer just possibilities, but the reality of your new home.

You can expect to have one to two appointments depending on your needs. Your designer will walk you through all the available options and work with you to make selections that not only fit your budget but create an interior that is unique to you.

Adam is one of our talented interior designers with over 20 years of professional design experience. Having worked in residential new construction for the majority of his career, Adam has had the opportunity to work on projects ranging in size and scale. From urban high-rise lofts to custom estate homes (and everything in between), Adam is able to interpret his customers’ needs and translate them into spaces that people connect with in all budgets and styles.

Adam is part of our larger design team who is ready to help personalize your new home as you’ve always dreamed and in a budget you’re comfortable with. It’s not necessary to spend a single dollar on options to have a beautiful Brookfield Residential home; however, now is the time to create a home you will love not only on the day you move in, but for years to come.

Any selection you make that is different from the included design elements has a cost associated with the change. When making these selections, it’s important to balance what you want with how much you are comfortable spending. While individual budgets vary, in general, most customers choose to invest 5 – 30% of the base price of their home toward their personalized selections and finishes. Financing design selections into your home loan allows you to add upgrades while adding only a fraction of the cost to your mortgage.

During your appointment you’ll review and approve your selections with your designer and confirm your choices with a signature and a deposit. The deposit will vary based on the community in which you are purchasing, but will be credited to your escrow account and eventually become part of your down payment.

After that, it’s our turn to transform your design dreams into reality. Our team will make sure your new home is ready and you can move in on time into the home you’ve always imagined.
