The Orange County Fair is in full swing this summer with even more events, attractions and fun than last year. Check out this guide on how to make the most of your visit.

Play some carnival games, of course! The fair offers dozens of classic games to enjoy. Check out the OC Register’s strategies on how to win.

Grab a $30 unlimited wristband on Wednesdays and Thursdays so you can hop on the roller coaster, Ferris wheel and other rides as many times as you can handle.

Check out the free entertainment, like a family comedy magic show and mini circus. On weekends, enjoy live performances from local bands.

Wine taste on Saturday or Sunday at the courtyard and learn more about the Orange County Wine Society.

Try the food. Taste a variety of fried foods, ice cream, smoothies, burgers and even crepes. There’s a map you can take at the entrance that lists the array of options throughout the fair. Fair goers are raving about the French toast bacon bombs at Bacon-A-Fair, which include bacon wrapped and cream-cheese stuffed French toast deep-fried with maple syrup and whipped cream. Chicken Charlie’s is offering chicken in a waffle and on-a-stick, a perfect new take on a classic fair food. If you’re looking for something sweet, head over to Texas Donuts and dig in to an eight-inch donut topped with icing, Oreo crumbs, graham cracker crumbs, marshmallow cream and chocolate syrup.
