Since early 2017, Brookfield Residential has been a proud sponsor of an incredible series of community events at Dockside in Whitby. This summer, we’re excited to kick off the latest run of fun, free, community-focused events: the Dockside 2018 Summer Event Series!

Dockside is Whitby’s new lakefront destination. Its event space on Whitby Harbour, along the Lake Ontario waterfront and just down the street from the Port Whitby Marina, is a scenic and welcoming place for Whitby residents and families to gather. With a stunning stretch of shorefront, a lush grassy field, an accessible gravel area, plenty of parking, and an easy-to-get-to location, Dockside is Whitby’s hottest event destination.

Dockside’s 2018 Summer Event Series’ schedule has been released, and can be found in detail on the Dockside in Whitby website. Make sure to sign up to receive your event invitations before the general public. Space is limited and RSVPs are required.

Sat. June 30: Summer Fest & Lakeside Cinema 
Kick off the Canada Day weekend with us & celebrate on the shores of Whitby Harbour!
Sun. July 15: FIFA Fest @ Dockside
Celebrate the World Cup Finals with us at Dockside & watch the match live on the big screen.
Sat. Aug. 11: Lakeside Cinema 
Enjoy an evening by the lake complete with music, games, food trucks, beer garden & popcorn!
Sat. Aug. 25: Girls' Night Out & Lakeside Cinema 
Bring your girls together for a night at Dockside.

Lakeside Cinema lets you relax on the waterfront on a summer evening, catching one of the latest flicks on the big screen while enjoying food trucks, a beer garden, free popcorn, games, music, activities and more. Last year, hundreds of people came out to enjoy the movies and to snap selfies on the lakeshore with our Dockside props and photo-ops (hashtagging #DocksideWhitby!). We’re looking forward to welcoming all new and returning event-goers this year with the latest Dockside Summer Event Series.
