Welcome to Retreat at Dripping Springs, a gated community featuring an enclave of thoughtfully designed two- and three-bedroom garden homes ranging from 1,700 to over 2,400 square feet.  Recognized as the gateway to Texas Hill Country, these new homes in Dripping Springs put you centrally located to shops, parks, neighbors and friends.

In a “Porch Portrait” session where we captured family photos on their porch from a safe distance, we connected with some of the Brookfield Residential homeowners at Retreat to find out what they love about their neighborhood. Answers ranged from the love of the open-concept floor plan designs to the perfect mix of amenities, but the overarching theme was the feeling of community. Despite the restrictions of quarantine, this neighborhood has made sure to stay connected. The Burns family said, “We have a great little Facebook group put together by one of the neighbors which keeps us up to date with the happenings in the neighborhood” and in an effort to keep everyone safe, the Burns have been sewing masks for family, friends, and the community.

The Wright family said they “love the open-concept design of the home and the welcoming feel of the community” and the Smith family said they love “the pool, the farmhouse feel of the home design, and the quiet of the community.” The Burns family summed up Retreat at Dripping Springs best — “It’s the perfect location, close to everything in Dripping Springs. This small neighborhood has the perfect mix of amenities and serenities.”

Beyond the covered pavilion, pool, and walking trails available within the community, there’s a variety of restaurants, shopping, and things to do. Grab some fresh baked goods at Thyme and Dough Bakery and find caffeinated perfection at Mazama Coffee Co. Try some authentic savory and sweet crepes true to the French tradition with a modern twist at deaf-owned and operated Crepe Crazy. Enjoy some Texas bourbon at Treaty Oak Distilling or some cold beer at Vista Brewing. Get outdoors and find picturesque hiking at Pedernales Falls State Park or 18 miles of biking trails at Reimers Ranch.
