10 Steps to Closing on a House

Now that you’ve found the house of your dreams, it’s time to start the closing process. The closing process, for those that don’t know, is the stage in the home buying journey where a formal offer is made and accepted and ownership is transferred. It can be a bit complicated though, so it’s important to know all of the important steps.

 First, you’ll want to do things like make a budget and find a real estate agent to make the closing process easier. Then you’ll want to apply for a loan and make an offer. Once that’s done, all you have to do is wait for your answer from the sellers. If they accept your offer, you’ll want to find a lawyer to inspect the contract and a licensed inspector to inspect the home. Check out our handy infographic below to learn more:
