A Message to our Homeowners and Community

March 27, 2020
Brookfield Residential Covid-19 Statement

To our valued customers and community members,

Your safety and comfort matters to us.

The health and safety of our people and community remains our priority. As we continue to monitor COVID-19, we remain dedicated to keeping our team members, homeowners, homebuyers, and business partners safe.

Because the situation is complex, we are taking direction from the WHO, CDC, PHAC, OSHA and all local health authorities and we are aligning our actions accordingly.

In recent days, a number of jurisdictions have called upon their residents to remain home as one way to minimize the spread of the virus. In most of the supply-constrained markets we operate in, our business is considered to be providing essential construction in that we supply housing, shelter and often much-needed affordable housing.

Were open and accessible to our community.

Community is at the core of everything we do. And that is why we have made a commitment to remain open for business for both our homeowners and our homebuyers with health and safety top-of-mind.

Our focus right now is creating safe conditions for people and the community, while remaining accessible to our customers who are currently in one of the many stages in their home buying and homeownership journey.

Our homeowners are relying on us to be there if they need essential, emergency warranty services. Homebuyers are counting on us to keep pace with their construction needs, right up to the day they will pick up their keys. We remain open and accessible to any community members who have found themselves caught in a home search during this time of global uncertainty, and when they are in need of a builder who can help them secure shelter for their familyduring this extraordinary time.

All interactions are by appointment only and we’re using technology to limit in-person contact.

We take care of our family.

Our team members and partners are encouraged to stay home if they have flu-like symptoms; a fever, cough, or feel sick. We’ll practice good hygiene and personal space, and we encourage you to do the same.

When you make any appointment with us, we will have few questions about your health and travel history at the time of your appointment to ensure the best timing of our visit, and we will be happy to continue to meet your needs.
